The presidential couple visited Queen Elizabeth’s coffin.
President Sauli Niinistö and Mrs. Jenni Haukio honored the memory of the late Queen Elizabeth II and visited the Queen’s coffin in Westminster Hall.
The presidential couple will attend the Queen’s funeral on Monday, September 19. The blessing ceremony starts at 1 pm Finnish time. The funeral of Elizabeth, who died on September 8, will be held in Westminster Abbey.

Leaders from around the world have already arrived in London to attend the Queen’s funeral.
The presidential couple will participate on Sunday, as will the king of Charles III to a reception at Buckingham Palace. The Bidens and other distinguished foreign guests will also participate in the same event.
According to the BBC, 500 heads of state and foreign dignitaries have been invited to the funeral. Royalties from other countries also arrive.
