Sirera advances that the popular will not vote in favor of a possible investiture of Trias
When there are barely two days left for the celebration of the full of investiture of the city council of Barcelona, the scenario continues without clearing up in the Catalan capital, where, yes, he PP has shown its willingness to make the socialist mayor Jaume Collboni, but on one condition: that neither Ada Colau nor any other candidate of the ‘commons’ become part of the municipal government.
That is the proposal made by the leader of the PPC, Daniel Sirera, in the context of an interview with program ‘I don’t know’ of Rac-1, in which he has made his conditions clear: “They should give me guarantee that after the general elections, I can’t find those of Ada Colau in the municipal government”.
“We do not give away votes to anyone. We know that with Mr. Collboni and with left we have differences, but there are also many points in common. If you are willing to discuss a concrete program of action, we are willing to reach agreements. give away votes, neither to Mr. Collboni nor to anyone”, Sirera declared.
The popular leader has affirmed that has been seen with Collboni in the last few hours because he has said that he is working so that the Catalan capital “has a stable government, that the city moves forward and that we do not continue to have one that has made Barcelona lose ground in the last eight years”.
Sirera has also admitted that he met with Xavier Trias (Junts) this Wednesday, although he has slipped that the meeting has just confirmed that the popular will not vote in favor of his candidacy.
