Bendodo assures that his formation speaks “not only” with Santiago Abascal’s party, but “with all parties with parliamentary representation”

The general coordinator of the Popular Party, Elías Bendodo, has assured this Thursday that there is no open negotiation table from Madrid with Vox “after the result of the municipal and regional (elections)” on May 28 and has pointed out that there will not be “a national agreement” between the ‘popular’ and the formation led by Santiago Abascal.

Of course, Bendodo has explained that from the general coordination of the party they have authorized the territories in which they have won the elections to speak “not only with Vox” but “with all the parties with parliamentary representation” so that they build “the most viable governance for their municipalities and autonomous communities.”

In statements to esRadio, collected by Europa Press, he recalled that the Popular Party has already reached agreements in numerous territories after the elections on May 28, such as in the Canary Islands, where they have agreed with Canarian Coalition, or in Cantabria, where “an imminent agreement” will be reached with the PRC for his abstention and to invest the president of the PP of the community, María José Sáenz de Buruaga.

“We have spoken very clearly and we have said what our pact policies are: Talk to everyone and agree with almost everyone”, has reiterated.

The insult, “general tonic”

On the other hand, in relation to the resignation of the former president of the PSOE of Seville, Amparo RubialesAfter calling him a “Nazi Jew”, Bendodo has confirmed that the Popular Party is going to go ahead with the lawsuit filed by his party for hate crimes, alleging that he has resigned from his position but “has not apologized”.

In this sense, he has recriminated the PSOE having “lost reason, management and truth” and, in his opinion, he only has “defamation and insult” left, a tone that Bendodo fears will be the “general of the campaign” before the 23J elections.

Thus, he has compared the situation with a “soccer match” in which the PSOE has started “kicking” instead of “scoring more goals than the other”. “What cannot be allowed is that a party that champions tolerance, respect, multiculturalism, different religions says these things. All those banners of socialism are frauds,” he criticized.

In line, he has denied that he had any personal issue with Rubiales for him to call him a “Nazi Jew.” “She is from a generation much higher than mine.much older, therefore we have not coincided much”, he explained.

On another point, the general coordinator of the ‘popular’ has regretted that the Government does not side with Huelva farmers who plant strawberries and “question” the red fruits that give work to families in Andalusia.

“This Government instead of defending Spanish farmers (…) he sides with the country that puts these issues in Andalusia in question and encourages them to visit us to question and make politics of an issue where Pedro Sánchez knows he is not right,” he criticized.

In the words of Bendodo, a “worthy” Prime Minister he has to defend his farmers “by tooth and nail”, “not to go against them and call into question the quality of their products”, he lamented.
