The criminal complaint was filed by Paakkanen’s niece Regina Panala. The will that is the subject of the criminal investigation was drawn up on 23 September 2015, and in the will Paakkanen assigned his inheritance to the foundation to be established.
According to Paanala, the signature shows that Paakkanen had not signed the will in question, because Paakkanen’s other signatures from 2015 are different from the will.
The matter was supposed to be heard in the district court of Länsi-Uusimaa on Wednesday, but the hearing was canceled and the matter was left to rest. IS says that Paanala has asked the police to also investigate the ambiguities in Paakkanen’s finances.
