Social media is circulating about what happened video, which shows how a bright streak of light hits a man in the middle of game events. The player, who fell to the surface of the field due to the force of the impact, quickly got to his teammates, who carried him off the field to get help.
According to local media, the man was breathing when the journey to the hospital began, but he could no longer be saved.
According to the Indonesian Meteorological Department, lightning struck the player 300 meters away.
