The e-commerce specialist The Platform Group AG (TPG) is continuing to advance its growth strategy. On Friday, the company announced the complete takeover of Hood Media GmbH, which operates the online marketplace Hood.de. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price, according to a statement. The transaction should therefore be completed by the end of February.

CEO Dominik Benner explained the latest acquisition: “We are pleased that Hood will be part of TPG in the future and that we will gain a further 4,900 active dealers,” he explained in a statement. “Hood is a platform with a long history. Our goal is to actively develop Hood further.”

The group of companies, which emerged from the merger of Fashionette AG with The Platform Group GmbH & Co KG last fall, continues to plan “the acquisition of three to eight companies, both in the B2B and B2C sectors,” for the current year “.
