The punishment of Istanbulspor, which was withdrawn from the field in the match against Trabzonspor in the Trendyol Super League, has been announced.
Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) gave Istanbulspor a 3-0 forfeit defeat as well as a 3-point deletion penalty to Istanbulspor, who withdrew from the field in the Trabzonspor match.
In the statement made on TFF’s website, it was stated that Istanbulspor was deemed defeated 3-0 due to leaving the field in the match hosting Trabzonspor and the home team was penalized with 3 points deletion.
It was reported that Ecmel Faik Sarıalioğlu, the president of the yellow-black club, was given a 90-day deprivation of rights and a fine of 780 thousand liras due to his action against the accreditation instructions and his unsportsmanlike behavior by withdrawing the team from the competition that had started.
On the other hand, it was noted that Istanbulspor will be suspended in the next home match due to the ugly and bad cheering caused by some fans.
