The election of the favorite outdoor artwork arose during the corona time, when museums had to be closed to the public for months. Radio 4 listeners were invited to tell us which artwork they liked to watch in the open air. All possible types of artwork could be nominated, including, for example, murals, artworks on roundabouts and landscape art. The winner of the first edition in 2021 was the artwork Broden en Vissen in Breskens (Zeeland) by artist Johnny Beerens.
