The Stockholm fashion label Arket, which is part of the clothing group Hennes & Mauritz, is opening a store in Paris. Plans for a store in Paris were announced earlier this year. On Tuesday, the group specified the opening of the new flagship, which opens its doors on Wednesday.
The new store opens in the Marais district of Paris and covers 400 square meters spread over six floors. On the sales floor, customers will find products for women, men and children as well as interior items from Arket. The minimalist design features of the Scandinavian brand and their range have been combined with the architectural features of the building. There is also an Arket café on the ground floor, which offers vegetarian dishes designed by Swedish chef Martin Berg.
“We couldn’t be happier to finally launch Arket in Paris, especially in this stunning location,” said Pernilla Wohlfahrt, managing director of the fashion label. “We have returned here many times for inspiration and look forward to being part of the vibrant mix of historical and modern culture.”
The Paris store is Arket’s twenty-fifth physical store.
