The Parisian bourgeoisie of the 90s, the Madrid Movida of the 80s, Hollywood of the 70s and the circus capture the inspiration of the parades on the second day of the 31st edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashionin which two firms have premiered for the first time in the Catalan fashion week.

The Belgian designer established in Barcelona who likes to awaken the rebellious side of an elegant woman and break the codes of society has presented ‘Breaks Codes, a collection inspired by the Parisian bourgeoisie of the 90s and the fashion of the time, but in a deconstructed way, pieces with a ‘rock destroy chic’ touch, very characteristic of the brand.

The signature of Maite Munoz habitual in the 080 Barcelona Fashion, which has presented ‘From Day to Night’, a collection where versatility is the starting point. It is a sophisticated and feminine collection that invites you to play with the garments without losing sight of the firm’s philosophy: ‘effortless’ characterized by premium materials, bright colors and flattering silhouettes.
Ankle-length coats made of alpaca wool and woven in a check, herringbone or ‘degradé’ jacquard; Merino wool, extrafine, and ‘cashmere’ jumpers, in solid colours, intarsias of colored diamonds with embroidered lines, or hand-painted; or soft and soft corduroy pants, in velvet or wool twill, have been some of the pieces that have been seen.
A very balanced color palette has reigned, following the trend of camel and gray colors, mixing with bright colors such as green, pink or violet. The novelty is presented when night falls, sweaters, ‘tops’ and metallic skirts with a shiny effect that remind us of the starry sky in winter.

The firm born in Spain whose approach is based on seeking singularity and reinventing tradition through a contemporary vision, taking this interpretation around the world, has paraded for the first time on the Barcelona platform.
‘I have no tears left is the name of his latest collection, inspired by the Quinqui culture of Spain during the transitionthe counterculture of Madrid scene. Its objective is to elevate the culture of the underworld through the use of noble materials such as swarovski crystalwhich has created exclusive applications for the collection, or cotton.
Does tailoring use to represent the character Enrique San Francisco and ‘distressed denim’ as a nod to Jaro and Vaquilla. It introduces new fibers such as ‘moher’ with cuts and shapes that remind us of lingerie, with the aim of pay tribute to the Mexican Isela Vega. The crochet flowers handmade, present in different forms throughout the collection, made with the same material used to create the Manila shawls, they are used as a tribute and in memory of Antonio and Lola Flores.

The designer born in Sabadell who created his brand in September 2013, presents ‘The American Dream’, a collection that is born from the reflection on the idea imposed on success. Set in the 70’s Hollywood, has a retro and subtly ‘cowboy’ inspiration with denim as a starting point, combined with waxed and tweeds. The collection is divided into two parts, a first that uses textures such as Swiss embroidery and flower-printed cotton, and the second designed with more sophisticated fabrics such as silk, tulle and slats.
