The Platform for People Affected by the Mortgage (PAH) has sneaked this Friday into the hall of the Palace hotel where the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, raquel sanchezgives a conference just the day after the Congress of Deputies has approved the housing law. The objective of the protest was to deliver a letter to the leader in which they denounced that the new norm “does not cap the price” of rentalsdoes not stop evictions or “do anything” for mortgages.

“It does not represent us, the housing problem is not going to be solved with this law,” the dozen activists denounced with a megaphone in hand before the attendees, who were warned before starting to read their letter that it was about a protest of peaceful character. The presence of the PAH was foreseen at the gates of the act, since they had made a previous call.
The members of the Platform they have not matched with the minister, who has waited together with the leader of the PSC, Salvador Illa, and other members of the socialist leadership in the room reserved for the activists to finalize their claim.
