Banana is a favorite fruit of many. No wonder.
But when the banana ripens, many may not eat it.
The chef rushes to the rescue Risto Mikkola. His one-pan dessert is mouth-watering.
– This is a quick dessert. You can use any dried fruit, Mikkola reminds.
Vanilla ice cream goes great with caramelized bananas.
Fried bananas
4 bananas
50 g of dried cranberries
1 dl rum
100 g of sugar
75 g of butter
1. Melt the sugar in a pan, add the butter and mix until smooth.
2. Add the bananas and cranberries, cook for a while and add the rum, continue cooking, stirring all the time.
3. Place the caramelized bananas on the serving plate, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and lemon crumble on top.
Lemon crumble
Zest of 1 lemon
200 g of butter
200 g of sugar
100 g wheat flour
150 g of almond flour
a pinch of salt
1. Whip the sugar and butter to a light foam, mix in the other ingredients and roll out between two pieces of baking paper into a disc about 0.5 cm thick.
2. Bake in a 180-degree oven for 15-20 min. Take the crumble out of the oven, cool and crumble.
