Krista Pärmäkoski got to train with the US skiing stars. Company in Soldier Hollow were Rosie Brennan and Olympic champion Jessie Diggins.
Diggins posted a picture of the group’s roller skiing practice on his Instagram account. In another shot, the trio posed in the sun smiling.
– Hello Finland. Training with Krista Pärmäkoski is really amazing, so… We might not give her back! Diggins joked.
The two have been friends for a long time.

Roponen as company
Pärmäkoski went to the state of Utah for a training camp Riitta-Liisa Roposen with. The idea started as a joke, but Roponen was excited to join.
– In July, I asked Riitta-Liisa Ropose how it would be. He didn’t think twice, Pärmäkoski said earlier.
The trip was not completely uneventful, as at the beginning the two got lost in the terrain and suffered a flat tire. Based on Pärmäkoski’s Instagram update, the trip was overall a success.
Among other things, the two hiked to the top of a 3,582-meter-high mountain.
– We reneged on the number and the hill, feasted on cheesecakes, picked up uncooked pizzas from the pizzeria when we were hungry, read, shopped, watched series, took saunas and gossiped. Exactly the kind of everyday life I was hoping to have in your company, Pärmäkoski praised Ropo.

Roponen was involved for three weeks, but for the last week Pärmäkoski has been alone. Training company was found in Diggins and Randall.
The main focus of the camp is basic endurance training. Pärmäkoski returns to Finland on Friday.
The ski season starts in November.
