Davis ran for bronze in the 400-meter hurdles in Atlanta 1996. He also won the 400-meter indoor World Championship gold with the US relay team in Barcelona 1995.

For years, Davis was one of the best 400m hurdlers in the world.

Davis reportedly died on Monday.

Davis’ passing announced his former alma mater, the University of Arkansas track and field team, the Razorbacks.

Even in his college years, Davis mostly ran on smooth, but changed his main sport to reals during his professional career.
