The first race of 21 laps in the 7th stage of the 2026 World Superbike Championship was held at the Misano Circuit in the Misano Adriatico town of Rimini. Italian motorcyclist Nicolo Bulega from the Aruba Ducati team won the first race of the weekend in the Misano leg of the World Superbike Championship.


Nicolo Bulega improved his own Superbike record by finishing first in 23 consecutive races, starting from the second race of last season’s Estoril leg.


In the first race of the week in Misano, Spanish Iker Lecuona, the other pilot of the Aruba Ducati team, finished in second place, and Italian rider Yari Montella from the Barni Spark team finished in third place.


Competing on behalf of the Motoxracing Yamaha team, crescent-star motorcyclist Bahattin Sofuoğlu crossed the checkered flag in 16th place in the first race.


Bulega, the leader of the drivers’ classification, increased his points to 397 and widened the gap between him and his teammate Iker Lecuona, who is in second place (284).


In the 2026 World Superbike Championship, the superpole will be held tomorrow at 12.00 CET and the second race of the weekend will be held at 15.00 CET.
