The bulletin goes on to say that the person contacted the Equality Ombudsman after the Olympic Committee had been told the public that there was another case of harassment. The subject of the suspected harassment has since asked for the matter to be clarified, and the Equality Ombudsman made a request for clarification to the Olympic Committee.

– With this measure, we want to show that we are uncompromisingly following the responsibility program of the sports community. We have reacted to all cases that came to our attention and made our own inquiries into all of them. At the same time, we consider it important that matters are also investigated by an independent body, said the chairman of the Olympic Committee in a press release. Jan Vapaavuori.

– The Olympic Committee has a strong will to clarify matters. We will continue to work hard for better exercise and sports.

Suek later confirmed on Tuesday night that he had taken the case into investigation.
