The number of minors who receive a personal assistance budget (PAB) in Flanders increased last year to 1,816. In 2018 there were still 879. The number has more than doubled in four years. This is evident from figures published by Flemish Minister of Welfare Hilde Crevits. This year too, the CD&V minister expects a further increase and more than 600 minors would be allocated a budget.
