The band from Weilheim in Upper Bavaria, founded in 1989, is once again a guest at ROLLING STONE Beach – and for good reason: their music, which is based on ambient, noise, krautrock and electro-pop but practically defies any categorization, develops an incomparable, rousing quality live Since their masterpiece “Neon Golden” (2002), The Notwist have also enjoyed international recognition. Most recently, the band around the brothers Markus and Micha Acher released the record “Vertigo Days“ (2021), which exudes an unbroken desire for experimental sounds and song structures.
