Norwegian National Day is celebrated on 17 May. The royal family was traditionally seen to represent together. Also present were the family’s dogs, who charmed with their presence.

Crown Prince Haakon and his family attended the National Day in Skaugum. His wife, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and her child, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and Prince Sverre Magnus also performed in traditional costumes.

The two dogs in the family, Milly and Molly, got to join the party with their family. For the younger dog, the opportunity was the first time in public.

The dogs of the family have aroused admiration in the media. Svenskdam reports that for the one-year-old Molly Fiskebolle, the presentation was new and exciting. The older dog Milly Kakao is already familiar with the family with several years of experience.

In Norway, the traditions of the National Day are adhered to.

Citizens wear gorgeous national costumes, Norwegian flags fly and processions take place across the country. The day is an official holiday, so most Norwegians celebrate a significant day.
