The outdoor outfitter The North Face, which belongs to the US clothing group VF Corporation, has filled two key positions. As the company announced on Tuesday, Sophie Bambuck has been appointed chief marketing officer, effective immediately. At the same time, Jennifer Ingraffea assumed the post of Chief Product & Merchandising Officer. The two new executives will now “drive marketing activities and product innovation in the brand’s next phase of growth,” explained The North Face.
Sophie Bambuck was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at fashion retailer Everlane. Prior to that, she worked for Nike Inc., a sporting goods company, for 13 years and held various management positions at the corporate brands Nike and Converse. Jennifer Ingraffea can even look back on a nearly twenty-year career at Nike. Most recently, she was Global VP Kids Footwear Product Merchandising. At The North Face, she will “lead the brand’s global product strategy” and “define growth goals across the apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories categories,” the company said.
