According to the statement made by the Premier League, former star players Tony Adams, Ashley Cole, Gary Neville, Sol Campbell, Jermain Defoe, Michael Owen, Michael Carrick, Les Ferdinand, John Terry, Petr Cech, Rio Ferdinand, Yaya Toure, Andy Cole, Robbie Fowler and Nemanja Vidic were among the nominees of the year.
Three of the 15 players, some of whom were on the nomination list before, will be included in the Hall of Fame after voting. Football fans will be able to participate in the voting, which started on the website of the Premier League, until April 10. The selected players will be announced on May 3.
