The NHL player who threatened the police is eyeing Russia

The Russian site MatchTV says, quoting its source, that the hockey player who represented the Colorado Avalanche last season “is completely closed to the NHL”.

The KHL connection became clear when it was reported that Galchenyuk had moved to the lists of an agent agency called Winners. Acts as his agent Yuri Nikolaevwho says he is looking for a job in Russia for his new client.

According to MatchTV, at least Salavat Ufa is after the striker who represented the USA at the national team level. Ufa had already offered Galchenyuk a contract worth 90 million rubles, or about 900,000 euros, last year.

Galchenyuk was arrested in Scottdale, Arizona on July 9 after he threatened the police with his Russian connections and violence. Before that, the player had crashed his car and fled the scene until he was caught.

He has apologized for his actions.

Galchenyuk holds US and Russian citizenship and his father is from Belarus.
