The brawler who caused a stir in recent weeks Matt Rempe21, was close to ending up in the NHL again.
The New York Rangers, represented by Rempe, were playing against the Columbus Blue Jackets when a scuffle broke out in the center circle by Mathieu Olivier and between Vincent Trocheck.
Rempe, who was trying to score, immediately stopped what he was doing and started rushing towards the center circle. Columbus’s Damon Severson, however, tied up the swollen attacker from behind so that he could not run again.
