Deutsche Bahn has launched another container train with relief supplies for Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Ambassador Andrij Melnyk (46), Federal Transport Minister Volker Wissing (51, FDP) and the governing Franziska Giffey (43, SPD) adopted the transport on Thursday at the Westhafen.
The train was loaded with food and medical supplies. The first stop is the community of Seddiner See near Potsdam.
All the containers with relief goods from all over Germany come there and are put together to form long freight trains, which are then supposed to roll to the Ukraine via Poland.
