Well, that’s a big compliment!

the New York Times (NYT), one of America’s most influential newspapers (circulation 329,000), celebrates our city on its travel page. It is titled: “Berlin is back in full swing”, in German: Berlin is back in full swing!

The report raves about the 178 museumsthree opera houses and the restaurant and club scene.

However, not without pointing out the gloomy Corona years, that Berlin always comes along in “funeral greyness” (funeral gray) and the general moodiness “known as Berlin snout“.

But the range of plump life makes up for that, according to the NYT. She recommends her readers, among other things, the New National Gallery and the Humboldt Forum! Impressive exhibitions despite all the criticism of the rebuilt castle.

The market hall Pfefferberg is mentioned as a culinary highlight with reference to the organic butcher and the pasta factory.

Last but not least, the newspaper is amazed at Berlin’s clubs that survived Corona: There’s more dancing than ever before.
