Hello, my name is Elsa Mercedes Ortiz or “Mechi”, as they know me in the Financial System. I am 37 years old and have 16 years of experience in this field, which is why Banks are my second home. I have a degree in Administration of Financial Institutions with a Master’s in Big Data, a technologist passionate about technology and teaching.
In the context of the pandemic, I received numerous inquiries that made me understand the needs of people to manage in the digital world, from basic questions about how to use Home Banking and pay utility bills, to explaining what Cryptocurrencies are and how they work. In addition, I perceived the concern that many people conveyed about the loss of their jobs.
All this prompted me to found MechiLearning, a channel to educate and understand that technology is there to accompany and empower. The name of this project arose while studying the Big Data Master in Barcelona. It is a play on words, where Mechi and Machine Learning were joined, which is automated learning and, in turn, a branch of artificial intelligence whose objective is to develop techniques for computers to learn.

Mechilearning.com differs in this matter because it offers education in new disciplines, with a focus on exponential technologies such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Metaverse and Cryptocurrencies.
Our main purpose is to raise awareness and open minds.
Our multidisciplinary team (made up of lawyers, accountants, programmers, creatives) that is dedicated to researching and incorporating the best content, keeping the platform updated with each new development in these matters. We provide dynamic and practical training to help naturalize new economic and technological concepts. And they range from the basic level, aimed at anyone who wants to start and acquire knowledge from scratch, to training for professionals who want to understand the new paradigms, in which technologies are modifying traditional financial models, in such a way that each user finds his best teaching path. We use metrics to evaluate each user and suggest options to improve their learning. This is how we achieve a follow-up that guarantees the effectiveness of learning.
Our objective is to be able to provide the necessary tools for job insertion or growth and thus give a greater opportunity for change and professional fulfillment for young people and adults.
Argentina is the thirteenth country in the world in “adoption intensity” of Cryptocurrencies. And if we talk about means of payment, 65% of Argentines are willing to use Cryptocurrencies. In turn, we promote training at the federal level, we reach the interior of the country thanks to the Professional Councils of Economic Sciences with the training “CryptoCompliance” and by 2023 “Meta Compliance” will arrive, to continue with our style is the union of the Metaverse with the Compliance.
