National basketball player Olcay Çakır Turgut, who left Fenerbahçe Alagöz Holding, transferred to Avenida, one of the Spanish Women’s Basketball League teams.
The Spanish team announced the transfer of the 29-year-old playmaker on his social media account with the phrase “Welcome Olcay” in Turkish. The national basketball player also said in his video message that he is looking forward to playing in his new team.
Olcay Çakır Turgut had the joy of winning the FIBA Women’s Europa League and ING Women’s Basketball Super League with Fenerbahçe last season.
