The new Museo Ottocento Bologna, Piano City in Milan and other events not to be missed

THEL 19th Century Bologna Museum is a “visual” book that explains in a simple way the development of Bolognese painting between about 1850 and 1930. About twenty rooms that house the permanent collectionmore than 80 works including paintings, watercolors, drawings and sketches, divided into thematic nuclei of local artists.

Among these, Raffaele Faccioli, Luigi Bertelli, Alfredo Savini, Augusto Sezanne, Alfredo Protti, Guglielmo Pizzirani and Giovanni Romagnoli.

The beauty of the collective

The artists who bring the project to life come from Italy, Germany and Spain Raumbilder// Frontier. Ten women, different in terms of generation and means of expression, who reflect “on the concept of limit from a multidisciplinary perspective”.

The exhibition presents a large collective installation resulting from the contamination of the artists’ works, from photography to sculpture, from installation to painting to performance. There are the works of Francesca Polizzi who works on raw wool and the concrete design of Rossella Palazzolo, the subtle geometric shapes of Tine Bay Lührssen and the photos of Blanca Matías.

Piano lessons

Welcome back Mr Bennett

In the context of Elf50!the schedule that until November celebrates half a century of life of the Milanese theater is back The vice of art written by Alan Bennett in 2009, which debuted in Italy, right at the Elfo, in 2014.
