The new head of marketing comes from within the company

US retailer Kohl’s Corporation has appointed Christie Raymond as chief marketing officer.

Raymond, who has been interim head of marketing since May, is now officially taking over the management of the marketing department, Kohl’s announced on Monday. She reports directly to CEO Michelle Gass.

She joined the company in 2017 as Senior Vice President, Media and Personalization. In June 2020, Raymond was promoted to Executive Vice President, Customer Engagement, Analytics and Insights. Before joining Kohl’s, she held various positions at entertainment provider The Walt Disney Company.

“I am delighted that Christie will be taking on the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Kohl’s. She joined Kohl’s several years ago and brought her tremendous experience and customer-centric leadership approach to the marketing organization,” said Gass.
