Guillermo Naranjo Hernandez has been appointed as the head coach of Galatasaray HDI Sigorta Women’s Volleyball Team.
In the statement made by the yellow-red club, it was reported that a 2-year contract was signed with Hernandez, who recently coached Germany’s SC Potsdam team.
The Spanish coach, who started his coaching career with Allianz MTV Stuttgart in 2013, coached Romanian team CSM Targoviște and Polish team Enea PTPS Piła, respectively, after his position until 2017.
Having won the German Super Cup and the German Cup twice with the SC Potsdam team, Hernandez took part in the Greece Women’s National Team in 2018-2021. Guillermo Naranjo Hernandez, who won the silver medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games with Greece, has also been the head coach of the Romanian Women’s National Team since 2022.
