After the close of the elections, the first indications began to circulate about what the outcome of the elections would have been. In this context, the possibility of holding a second electoral round to elect the next president of Argentina became a probable scenario.

As the minutes go by and these trends take shape and even from the candidates’ own bunkers there is talk of the possibility of a runoff, social networks echo the situation. In fact, just an hour after the elections concluded, both the runoff and the ballot were trending on X (ex Twitter).

The reactions were varied. Many complained about the results, others about the fact of having to go to the polls again and many others celebrated these theoretical results. As it could not be otherwise, memes became the main mechanism to demonstrate.
