The Netherlands says that child and youth participation is important, but does not live up to it

The Netherlands must do much more with the voices of children and young people. This is what the Children’s Rights Collective states. We are obliged to do so, according to, among other things, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, but it still does not happen. Our eastern and southern neighbors can do it. Chairman Marc Dullaert addresses the new cabinet: “Unacceptable that this has still not been laid down in law.”
