The Netherlands was the world’s largest importer of solar panels last year. The total value of all solar panels that entered our country amounted to almost 12 billion euros, the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) calculated. That is about 2 billion euros more than the second largest importer, the United States, brought in solar panels.
