The Netherlands and Flanders are working together on a plan that should lead to less PFAS, microplastics and other pollutants in the Scheldt. This is stated in the PFAS progress report that the Dutch Provincial Executive has sent to the Provincial Council of Zeeland. The Netherlands and Flanders have agreed that the Netherlands will draw up an initial plan for an approach. Further agreements will be made in a follow-up meeting.
