She teaches (love according to) Plato and Schopenhauer. He quotes the chansonnier Michel Sardou as if he were a poet. The story between Sophia and Sylvain (“Simple as Sylvain” was the original title, and it could have been kept) It shouldn’t have lasted more than one night (of fabulous sex).
But Sophia, having reached the end of a relationship, lets herself be ensnared by the “charm of small things”. While Sylvain, getting the wrong shirt and accent, reopens the door to reality. Which is never easy. And no one escapes it.

The conclusion of the investigation on which the Canadian Chokri has been working since her debut as an actress with Xavier Dolan is bitter. To betray one’s class, passion is not enough.
