The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine imposed sanctions against the Russian Vitrina TV LLC, which broadcast the sanctioned TV channels. This was announced by the head of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov at a briefing, broadcast walked on Facebook.
“On sanctions, Vitrina TV LLC, registered in Moscow. <...> It provides services for the retransmission of Russian TV channels that are blocked on the territory of our country,” Danilov said.
Vitrina TV was registered in Moscow in September 2017 with an authorized capital of RUB 36.01 million, should from RBC Company data. Sergey Storozhev is the General Director.
Among its founders are Gazprom-Media Holding, National Media Group, Channel One Rights Library and TRK-1. Their share in the authorized capital is 25% each.
The revenue of Vitrina TV in 2020 amounted to 193.25 million rubles, and the profit was 703 thousand rubles.
The National Security and Defense Council also imposed sanctions against the Nash and Maxi-TV channels. According to Danilov, these companies are owned by a Cypriot company. As indicated on Zelensky’s website, we are talking about Demosena Investments LTD.
