The National Police detains bailaor Rafael Amargo once again for drug trafficking

The new research on Madrid Police Headquartersled by the 27th investigating court, has gathered evidence that Amargo continued to sell methamphetamine from his house in the Malasaña neighborhood from Madrid. The police checked the movement of people who went to the house where Amargo lived, converted almost in a drugstorewhich provoked protests from its neighbors.

Bitter was already arrested at the end of 2020 at his home in Madrid for a similar crime in the framework of the ‘Corax operation’ (Cuervo). In the records of that operation, the police found more than 60 grams of methamphetamine, double what was considered by the Supreme Court as “of notorious importance” when assessing whether it is appropriate to sentence the people involved.

Methamphetamine is a drug that comes mainly from Mexico (a few years ago he came from Germany) and, once in the street, It sells for about eighty euros per gram, more than double the price of cocaineand is usually smoked in a pipe.

That case is still pending trial in the Provincial Court of Madrid (it will be held next June). The prosecution requests that Amargo be sentenced to nine years in prison for a continued crime against public health.

Then, the investigators also seized ketamine and liquid ecstasy, in addition to almost six thousand euros in cash. In the case of the goal, most of it, 63.4 grams, was at a producer’s house of theater who was also arrested. At Amargo’s house, the police found 0.4 grams.
