The municipality of Aa en Hunze warns residents to be alert to glass splinters, soot particles or debris in the garden. On Friday evening, a major fire broke out in a farmhouse and garage on Gasselterboerveen in Gasselternijveen.
There were solar panels on the roof of the building. They broke due to the heat. The wind may have caused pieces of glass, soot or debris to end up in the area.
