The most frequently asked question to Cathie Wood answered: ARK Invest is coming to Europe

The most frequently asked question on ARK Invest’s website is: “Why can’t we buy your strategies in Europe?”. Cathie Wood now has an answer to that, because with the takeover of the London fund house Rize ETF, ARK Invest will soon be represented in Europe.

• European investors want products from Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest
• ARK Invest has acquired European fund provider Rize
• Cathie Wood ETFs soon available in Europe?

Cathie Wood, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of ARK Invest, is considered the best-known tech investor. However, the fund manager’s products are currently only tradable in the USA. But demand is also high in Europe.

The “No. 1 question” for ARK Invest and Cathie Wood

This interest is also reflected in the most asked question on the ARK Invest website: “The No. 1 question on our website when we track these questions is: Why can’t we buy your strategies in Europe?” Wood told ETF Edge” from CNBC. According to Wood, about 25 percent of the overall demand for ARK’s research strategies is likely to come from Europe, CNBC said.

Are Cathie Woods ETFs coming to Europe?

The fact that the Cathie Wood ETFs can only be traded in the USA could soon change. Because: ARK Invest recently acquired the European index fund provider Rize ETF Limited from AssetCo. “We found this little gem of a company within AssetCo that is very similar philosophically and from a DNA perspective to ARK,” Wood said. “They know what is in their portfolios. They are very future-oriented, thematically oriented. They have a sustainable orientation, which is absolutely necessary in Europe.”

The platform will be renamed “ARK Invest Europe,” according to a press release. ARK Invest’s flagship products could soon come to Europe and possibly Germany in a modified form.

“We are terribly impressed with the quality of them [Rize ETF] own research and due diligence. We saw it during the deal, and I think we’ll hit the ground running if regulators approve our strategies there. And of course we would like to spread their strategies around the world, including in the US,” CNBC quoted Wood as saying.
