Flexible working hours, childcare and company pension schemes – family-friendliness of employers is becoming more and more important for more and more people. The media brand freundin and the employer rating platform kununu have asked employees to anonymously rate their employers based on family friendliness. The following ranking lists the top ten.

For the eighth time, the media brand freundin, together with the employer rating platform kununu, has created a ranking of the most family-friendly employers in Germany and Austria. In total, more than 3.2 million reviews of over 300,000 German and Austrian companies were analyzed according to a defined catalog of criteria such as home office and childcare. All reviews received on kununu.com by May 8, 2023 were included in the survey. The prerequisite for inclusion in the ranking is at least 50 reviews on kununu and an overall kununu score of at least 3.5 stars on the deadline. The following ranking shows the ten most family-friendly companies in Germany, ranked by number of points. The data is as of May 8, 2023.

10th place: viadee Unternehmensberatung AG
viadee Unternehmensberatung AG is represented in Münster, Cologne and Dortmund and specializes in IT. The company reached tenth place in the ranking with 4.74 points.

9th place: Porsche Deutschland GmbH
Porsche Deutschland GmbH, based in Bietigheim-Bissingen, achieved ninth place with a score of 4.75 points. The wholly owned subsidiary of Porsche AG is responsible for sales in the strategically important home market of Germany. In addition to the sales functions, Porsche Deutschland GmbH is responsible for the areas of finance, human resources and IT.

Slashwhy GmbH & Co. KG, a service provider for individual software development and software solutions, made it to fifth place. According to its own information, the IT company’s range of services extends from applications for the integration of new hardware to the networking of machines to the interaction between humans and machines. The company achieved 4.79 points in the ranking.
