For two years we have been able to hide our teeth behind a mouth mask, but now there is no escaping it: everyone can see again how radiant or unkempt that is. Last Sunday was Oral Health Day, so we climbed into the dentist’s chair for a major overhaul and noted a number of useful tidbits: what are the most recent brushing recommendations? How can poor oral health lead to heart problems? And can we kiss when our gums bleed?
