The former coordinator of Navalny’s Moscow headquarters (the organization was recognized as extremist, a foreign agent and banned in Russia) Oleg Stepanov was put on the wanted list by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), should from the agency database.
Stepanov’s card says that he is “wanted under the article of the Criminal Code”, but it is not specified for which one.

Stepanov is on the so-called “sanitary case” against Navalny’s associates. The defendants are charged with incitement to violate sanitary and epidemiological rules (part 4 of article 33 and part 1 of article 236 of the Criminal Code) in connection with protests in support of Alexei Navalny that took place at the beginning of last year.
In this case, in August last year, a lawyer from the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK, recognized as a foreign agent and an extremist organization, banned in Russia) Lyubov Sobol was sentenced to a year and a half in prison, after which she left Russia. In November, the Federal Penitentiary Service asked to replace her suspended sentence with a real one.
