The location of the characteristic cooking championship is the Alfa college on the Kluiverboom. From cooking-mad butchers, opticians, construction workers to soldiers: the field of participants at the large education location is strong and competitive in a fun way. Jury chairman Flang Cupido van Terschelling, himself a proud former champion, is totally in favor: „You can become a top player here today, the best in the whole world. It’s not nothing. As participants, we keep a close eye on you”, says Cupido with a smile to the assembled participants. What’s the secret of the true chowder? “It’s all about the smell, color, we check the recipe… and of course the taste. Plus cleanliness and tasty ingredients.”
