Tribute to Isidre Girones
The ‘Consell de savis’ of La Boquería paid a nice tribute to Isidre Gironés, founder of the restaurant Ca l’Isidre. The event was held in the market facilities and those present ended up tasting the characteristic ‘callos amb cigrons’ from Ca l’Isidre. Friends of the house such as Joan Manuel Serrat, Xavier Trias, Òscar Nebreda, Javier de las Muelas, Toni Falgueras, Josep Monje or Carles Vilarrubí, as well as his daughter Núria -another great chef-, the cook Josep Berenguer and the manager of La Boquería, Óscar Ubide.
