A Birmingham train station got a metal bull named after Ozzy Osbourne.
A musician legend Ozzy Osbourne, 74, was delighted to learn that the name Ozzy was chosen from 2,000 submissions in a search for a name for the giant metal bull. The bull now sits in Birmingham at New Street station.
– I am completely amazed, Osbourne said according to The Guardian.
– Thank you for all your votes. Forever Birmingham!
It’s a fitting tribute to the Birmingham-born musical legend.
Osbourne surprised by performing at the closing ceremony of last summer’s Commonwealth Games in his hometown together with the Black Sabbath legend Tony Iommithe drummer by Tommy Cluefetos and bassist by Adam Wakeman with.
Osbourne was supposed to perform in Finland in May 2023, but he announced at the beginning of the year that the entire European tour would be cancelled. His physical condition is so weak that he can no longer travel abroad.
Osbourne also suffers from Parkinson’s disease, which further weakens his weak condition.
– It is no longer possible for me to travel to Europe or Great Britain. Believe it or not, disappointing my fans is really hard for me, Osbourne said at the beginning of the year.
The British musician currently lives in the United States with his family. He was last seen in Finland in 2018. Osbourne released new music in 2022.
