By the end of the performance, smiles are burned into our faces. The Cirque du Soleil has enchanted us once again. It is pretty clear that a circus with tickets starting at 61 euros offers first-class artistry. But it’s all the trimmings that make the Corteo show unique.

The 260 costumes are a feast for the eyes. Although it is an indoor show, the stage conjures up a real manegen feeling in the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

The audience sits on two sides of the stage and is close to the action. The program is filled with sixteen numbers ranging from breathtaking trapeze artistry to top-class juggling to clowning that is really hilarious.

The big star of the evening is a woman of short stature.

Valentina floats through the hall on four helium balloons and lets herself be tossed by many hands from the audience. “Corteo” lets us dream for two hours.
