ProSieben has announced a tour of its television show “The Masked Singer” through several German cities. “‘The Masked Singer’ is going on a tour of Germany,” said moderator Thore Schölermann on Saturday evening at the start of the sixth season of the music puzzle show in Cologne.

About the content of the stage version of the format, he said: “The most popular masks come by there. We will all guess a lot together.”

On its website, the broadcaster explained that celebrities should also be there. But more can’t be revealed – the start is in March 2023. Cologne, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Munich and Berlin were among the stops mentioned.

“The Masked Singer” has been running at ProSieben since 2019. Celebrities appear as singers on the show, but hide their true identities behind opulent full-body costumes. Only her voice and a few hints give an idea of ​​​​who could be under the mask. Gradually they are revealed. Moderator is Matthias Opdenhövel. In the first episode of the sixth season, however, he was represented by Thore Schölermann because of a corona infection.
