In a march with marked party characteristics, with a Kirchnerist predominance, the Palace of Courts, between smoke and music, faced a claim for the “democratization of Justice”. In the midst of a clear tension between the ruling party and the Judiciary, the mobilization was encouraged from the toughest K sectors, under the slogan #1FMarchamosALaCorte. And it was attended by Judge Juan María Ramos Padilla.
The union sector also marked its presence. The unions with the best relationship with the Government marched behind Hugo and Pablo Moyano. Among the union representatives were Roberto Baradel -general secretary of SUTEBA-, Hugo Yasky -head of the CTA and the national deputy for the FdT-, Omar “Caballo” Suárez -of the United Maritime Workers Union- and Sergio Palazzo, general secretary of the Banking The UOCRA also joined the claim and asked for the “freedom of Pata Medina.”
How could it be otherwise, the political leaders present were Amado Boudou, Mayra Mendoza and Leopoldo Moreau, among others. The Director of Legal Affairs of the Senate, Graciana Peñafort, and representatives of Human Rights organizations aligned with Kirchnerism also participated: Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, Mothers of the Founding Line, the Capital section of HIJOS, and the Permanent Assembly for Human Rights (APDH). , among others.
Finally, on behalf of Argentine Actresses, Cristina Banegas and Luisa Kuliok read a document during the central act, after the speech of Judge Ramos Padilla, the main speaker.
Criticism rained down from the opposition. One of the most relevant words was that of the Head of Government of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, who through his social networks expressed his concern about the “systematic attack of the Government on judges” who do not act according to their interests and expressed his concern on promotion of projects that, according to the official PRO, seek to undermine the independence of the Judiciary.
