The trial against Francisco VM barely lasts a few minutes, given that he cannot be charged due to his mental illness: he suffers from atypical psychosis
Francis VMthe man who stabbed to death his sister in Churra (Murcia) in the summer of 2020 and then went to church, sat this Thursday on the bench of the Provincial Court of Murcia. As reported by La Opinion De Murcia, a newspaper that belongs to the same group as this medium, and requested by the Prosecutor’s Office, the man was committed to the prison psychiatric hospital due to his mental illness. And so he has been sentenced, in a resolution that is firm: the neighbor will be 15 years boarding school.
The trial barely lasted a few minutes, given that he is incompetent due to his mental illness: he has atypical psychosisa picture similar from the legal medical point of view to that of paranoid schizophrenia in terms of symptoms, evolution and imputability.
The man suffers from a serious psychic alteration, he considers that he is a person who cannot be charged due to his mental illness, although it is proven that he was the one who ended the life of his sister Gloria in a house in the aforementioned Murcian town in the summer of 2020. Gloria received more than 30 stab wounds to vital organssuch as the heart or the lung, which crossed the aortic artery and caused his death.
The widower of the victim, who appeared as a private prosecution in the case, will receive 95,000 euros as compensation. Each of the two children of the victim, another 50,000 euros; each of the three brothers, 15,000; and the mother, in the house in which the crime was committed, 40,000.
The ruling urges the prison to dispense Francisco “the proper treatment according to his personal situation in the dependencies under his charge in which he will continue to be interned with transfer, where appropriate, to another institution or penitentiary center that is considered appropriate for this purpose for compliance with the security measure imposed, as the imposition of the same, giving immediate account to this judicial body”.
