Suomirock band Uniklubin Love and barbed wire -this year marks 20 years since the release of the debut album. To celebrate the milestone, the band has released a festive version of the song of the same name today, February 2.
Newly Love and barbed wire 20 different artists are guests in the video. Included are, among others, Klamydia’s Vesku Jokinen, The Rasmussen Emppu SuhonenAikakone’s Sani, DJ Oku Luukkainen and Lovex’s Torsti Mäkinen.
– At first, the idea of re-warming an old song seemed scary, but when the crazy idea of twenty fiats came up, we thought that maybe this could become something cool. It’s also nice to do something so special for the pleasure of our listeners, the singer of Uniklub Jussi Selo comment.
The new music video also features host Susanna Laine. Laine was already seen in the song’s original music video, where she sat getting tattooed.
Uniklubi band celebrates its 25th birthday this year. In honor of the anniversary, the debut album Love and barbed wire will be re-released as a mastered vinyl version, and the band also started their holiday tour at the end of January.
